💙 FRIDAY FEELS: ZIGGY’S HAPPY ENDING! 💙

Once upon a time, this handsome boy was known as Manny. He came to us with his momma and three siblings after an emergency situation turned their whole world upside down. 🥺

Thankfully, they landed exactly where they needed to be. ❤️

Manny was welcomed into the most amazing foster family with Tori, Nathan, and their pups Gemma & Bruno, who showed him what safety, love, and being part of a family really felt like. 🐾

And then came Julia & Ben. 💕 They met Manny, fell in love, and knew this sweet boy was meant to be theirs.

Now Manny is officially ZIGGY and living his very best life! 🏡✨

From an emergency situation… to a loving foster home… to a forever family.

This is what rescue is all about. ❤️

🏡💛 HAPPY FOREVER, OHANA! 💛🏡

Some dogs wait a little longer for their happily ever after… and some just need the right people to finally see them. 🥹🐾

Ohana spent several months at Leicester Animal Control after being found as a stray. For a while, he didn’t even have a name. He was simply waiting… hoping someone would choose him.

Then Dawn and Jay walked into his life. 💛

They gave him a name: Ohana.

And you know what that means… Ohana means family. 🥹🏡

And now, it’s official — Ohana has found his family! 🎉🐶

Congratulations to Dawn and Jay on their newest family member! We couldn’t be happier that this sweet, buttery boy gets to spend the rest of his days surrounded by love, snuggles, and the people who knew he was meant to be theirs.

From a nameless stray waiting at animal control… to a beloved member of an Ohana of his very own. ❤️

💕 HI, I’M PIPPA! 💕

I’m tiny, adorable, and basically a professional snuggler. My favorite hobbies include burrowing under blankets, curling up on warm laps, finding the sunniest spot in the house, and being wherever my people are. 🥰☀️

Cold weather? Hard pass. I was not designed for that nonsense. Give me a cozy blanket and a human to cuddle and I’m one happy little girl!

I’m a social butterfly and LOVE my people. I like other dogs too, but I have some very important opinions about sharing my toys and food. 😏 So I need a family who understands resource guarding and is experienced with dogs like me—or I could happily be your one-and-only.

And food? Ohhh, we are BEST FRIENDS. 🍗 Treats make me very motivated to learn, although I’m still working on remembering that good manners are apparently required before snacks are distributed. 😂

I’m sweet, playful, curious, snuggly, and full of personality. I may be little, but I have a whole lot of love to give.

💛 SUNDAY SPECIAL: ANOTHER GOLDEN RETRIEVER IN A BULLY BREED-BASED RESCUE. 💛

Yep. You read that right. 😂

“But why is a Golden Retriever in a bully breed-based rescue?”

Because sometimes a dog is a dog who needs help — regardless of what breed is written on their paperwork.

Meet DEXTER! 🐾

Dexter is a 2-year-old Golden Retriever who is smart, sweet, energetic, and absolutely LOVES his people. He’s house trained, knows his basics, and is eager to learn.

So why is this golden boy with BBR?

👉 He’s leash reactive to other dogs.
👉 He’s higher drive and needs an active lifestyle.
👉 He needs someone who understands that a young, energetic dog needs more than a daily walk around the block.

Dexter is looking for an experienced adopter who enjoys training and is ready to keep his body AND brain busy. He currently lives happily with another male dog, but we’re looking for a female dog companion or an only-dog home.

🐱 He has lived with a cat, but future introductions should be slow and carefully managed.
👧 Children 12+.
🏃 Active home strongly preferred.

Because rescue isn’t about rescuing a certain breed. It’s about rescuing the dog who needs you. ❤️

🐾 Friday Feels: Meet the Girl Who’s Making Up for Lost Time

Meet Fiadh—a 2-year-old German Shepherd who is learning that the world is actually a pretty wonderful place. 🥹🐾

Fiadh’s story didn’t start the way we wish it had. For the first year of her life, she wasn’t really exposed to the world or many people. Then, suddenly, everything she knew changed when she was surrendered to animal control.

But now? She’s making up for lost time, one new adventure at a time. ❤️

Her foster family is showing her just how amazing life can be, and Fiadh is soaking it all in. She may not be the most confident girl yet, but she is incredibly curious, smart, eager to learn, and eager to please.

And once she feels comfortable, her personality shines! ✨

In return, she promises plenty of love, cuddles, playtime…and maybe just a little princess attitude. 👑😂

She may not have gotten the puppyhood or early experiences every dog deserves, but she’s making up for lost time with every new thing she discovers.

If it’s not a thing yet, it definitely should be! 😍🐶

Our puppies are busy checking ALL the important boxes with their fosters—working on their socialization checklist, learning their basics, practicing those leash skills, and soaking up all the good life lessons.

And these babies are absolutely crushing it! 💕 They’ve been amazing in their crates and are doing great with kids, dogs, and other animals.

But remember… puppies are cute, cuddly, and A LOT of work! 🥰 Adopting a puppy is a lifetime commitment, and we want to help every family get off on the right paw. 🐾

That’s why all BBR puppy adopters are required to complete a training class. Because raising a great dog is a team effort—and we’re here to help set everyone up for success!

Sid is an absolute sweetheart and professional cuddle bug. His ideal day? A big breakfast, a short walk or a few zoomies, and then straight to the couch—or a sunny spot—for some serious lounging. 😴☀️

This laid-back boy has a heart of gold and absolutely adores people and kids. He’s still working on his leash skills, but Sid has one very important skill mastered: sticking close to his people. 🥰

Silly, sweet, mellow, and always ready to snuggle, Sid is looking for a family who appreciates the finer things in life—good food, sunshine, couch time, and lots of love. 🐾💙

👑 THE PRINCESS HAS ARRIVED! 👑

This beautiful girl (named Fiadh) is settling into foster life and showing everyone exactly what a fun, smart, confident pup she is! ❤️

She’s curious, playful, affectionate, and very gentle with treats. She loves hanging out with her humans, playing, snuggling on the couch, and going for walks—even if her zig-zag walking style has apparently been declared “incorrect.” 😂

She’s also proving she can settle nicely when things get quiet. She’s happy to relax in her crate or find a comfy spot to hang out while her humans do their thing.

She’s been introduced to dogs, cats, and even kittens, and she’s taking all the craziness of her new world in stride. She may have a little bit of a bratty princess attitude, but she’s also a really good girl who is smart, confident, and eager to learn. 👑

And we can’t forget those amazing waves! Everyone has a different word for her unique coat, but we’re going with “waves,” thanks to her 8-year-old foster brother. 🌊

She’s ready to find the forever home where she can continue to learn, play, snuggle, and, of course, be treated like the princess she clearly believes she is. 💅🐾

We are DESPERATE for temporary fosters right now! 🐾❤️

You don’t have to commit to forever to make a HUGE difference. Could you open your home to a pup for a weekend, a week, or a few weeks? Even short-term help can be the reason we’re able to say YES to a dog in need. 🥹🐶
