Twenty three years ago today, Lonna and I started our Erie Insurance Agency from scratch out of our home in Clarksburg. Six weeks later we moved into our Nutter Fort office at 126 Pennsylvania Avenue, where we remain today. Three years ago we purchased another agency in Ellenboro, WV. We’ve seen some employees come and go over the years but feel we have our most experienced, dedicated, & compassionate staff at the moment. Nicole Singleton 28 years (18 with us), Trudi Kerns 22 years experience (almost 4 with us), Dawn Skinner 20 years all with us, Rachel Fluharty 10 years experience (1 year with us), Abby Ash 6 years, all with us, Logan Auvil 4 years (2 with us), and Olivia Auvil 3 years, all with us. Lonna started her insurance career with Celina Group in 1982 so she has 21 years experience on the company side and 23 on the agency side (she started when she was 12). I started with Celina Group as well in 1988 so I have 15 years on the company side with 23 on the agency side. So we feel we have a nice blend of experience and youthfulness in both offices. We’ve seen our share of victories and disappointments, challenges and success’s over the past 23 years.
