🌟 Feature Friday: Meet Kristi! 🌟

This week's Feature Friday spotlight is Kristi!

Although Kristi has only been with Senior Meals in Motion for a short time, she already feels like part of the family. As one of our delivery drivers, she enjoys delivering meals to our seniors and helping others each day.

In her spare time, Kristi enjoys trout fishing, taking care of her cats and chickens, and singing (just not in front of people).

We're happy to have Kristi as part of the Senior Meals in Motion team and appreciate the care she brings to our clients every day!

🌟 Feature Friday 🌟

This week’s Feature Friday is June! June is the driver of our Salem route and has been part of the Senior Meals in Motion family since 2011. ❤️

June says she feels very blessed to have such a wonderful route and great people to serve each day. Her kindness and dedication mean so much to our clients and our team!

When she’s not working, June enjoys spending time with her granddaughter, loving on her dogs, and relaxing by the water. ☀️🐶💙

🌟 Feature Friday 🌟

This week’s Feature Friday is Jonny! 💙

Jonny has been with Senior Meals in Motion since March of 2024 and serves as one of our drivers. One of his favorite parts of the job is being able to help people every day and getting to know new faces throughout the community.

When he’s not working, Jonny enjoys watching movies and has recently been working on his green thumb. This year he’s growing his very first tomato plant! 🍅

This week’s Feature Friday spotlight is on Tammy! Tammy is one of our delivery drivers at Senior Meals in Motion. She loves being there for our clients and knows how important the daily conversations and connections can be.

Tammy has been part of our team since June 2024. When she’s not out delivering meals, she enjoys gardening and taking care of her million houseplants! 🌿🪴

We’re excited to kick off our Feature Friday series here at Senior Meals in Motion! Each Friday, we’ll be introducing you to some of the amazing people who help make our mission possible. From preparing meals to delivering smiles, our staff works hard to serve the senior citizens of Harrison County.❤️

First up is Pat, our Executive Assistant! Pat has been part of the SMIM family for an incredible 11 years. You can find her doing a little bit of everything, from keying in meal counts (one of her favorite parts of the job!) to talking one-on-one with every new client added to our roster and helping them feel welcomed and cared for.

When she’s not hard at work, Pat enjoys gardening and taking walks around her neighborhood. 🌷🚶‍♀️

We know we’re a little late posting this… but after an incredible night at our elimination dinner, we were still recovering from all the fun, excitement, and generosity!

Today we shine a light on the Healthy Grandfamilies, a free program that equips grandparents raising grandchildren with practical education, resources, and statewide support. Through a series of expert‑led sessions covering topics from modern parenting to legal issues and stress management, participants gain tools to navigate their unique family dynamics. After completing the program, families receive ongoing, personalized follow‑up services to help them access community resources and advocate for their needs.
