Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when news of the Emancipation Proclamation finally reached enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas—more than two years after it was issued. ❤️🥹

The Nutley Public Library will be Closed Friday, June 19, in Celebration of Juneteenth.

Yes, the The Nutley Free Public Library is temporarily closed, but we are still having our beloved book sale!
For donations, just enter as usual at the side door, and for the sale, come in the same way. The Library is still off limits, but the Stockton Room where the sale will be, the bathrooms and the vending machines will all be accessible. See you there!

We took a fun trip to NYS to visit the Culinary Institute of America and the Vanderbilt Mansion. Lots to see, taste and learn :)
