Join the Friends of the Nutley Public Library for our annual LeeRae O’Brien Author Tea with Daniel J. Geltrude, Nutley resident and author of Dogs Taught Me Everything I Know about Business. Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. The Evening Tea and Book Signing will feature refreshments prepared by personal chef Theresa Hosseiny of T’s Taste, as well as a tricky tray, music, and a discussion with the author. Tickets are available for $60 per person.

Great to know that we still love printed books!

Most U.S. adults read books, with print still favored over digital formats, though e-book and audiobook use has grown. Habits vary by demographics and few join book clubs.

Yes, the The Nutley Free Public Library is temporarily closed, but we are still having our beloved book sale!
For donations, just enter as usual at the side door, and for the sale, come in the same way. The Library is still off limits, but the Stockton Room where the sale will be, the bathrooms and the vending machines will all be accessible. See you there!

We took a fun trip to NYS to visit the Culinary Institute of America and the Vanderbilt Mansion. Lots to see, taste and learn :)
