As we get ready for another great Nowata County Fair, we wanted to let everyone know that we've found a few typos and changes in this year's fair book. We truly appreciate everyone who worked hard to put the book together—there are a lot of details that go into making it happen!

To help everyone have the most accurate information, we've attached the correct schedule which is also in the front page of the book. Also please not there will not be a calf fry this year.

Please use this schedule as your reference when planning your fair entries and activities as opposed to the dates and times further into the book.

🚨 Nowata County Fair Board Needs You! 🚨

We're currently looking to fill 3 open positions on the Nowata County Fair Board.

If you care about our community, enjoy supporting local youth, and want to help preserve and improve one of Nowata County's longest-standing traditions, we'd love to have you join our team.

No special experience is required—just a willingness to volunteer, work together, and make a difference. Our board helps plan and organize the annual fair, maintain the fairgrounds, and ensure the fair continues to be something our community can be proud of.

We want to thank Hollander Exchanger Supply for donating the supplies for our recent concrete slab projects that we completed on our last work day! We appreciate their generosity.

Another upgrade was recently made to the Fair Building on the south livestock barn and outside on the south side. We have upgraded the speakers and added a few additional ones! This bundled with the new spray insulation should help hear what’s going on in the livestock barn!

We are very thankful for the volunteers and the fair board that came out to help at our workday this morning. We were able to construct two concrete pads that will serve as bases for our two sets of scales. Screenings have also been added throughout the livestock barn. Also included are a few pictures of our new spray foam in the livestock barn to help insulate the ceiling and walls and our new floors in the bathrooms!

We are sad to have to do this, but we are unfortunately going to have to cancel today due to impossible roads. We will let you know later today the date and time we are able to reschedule this.
