The Moovin’ Thru the Midway 5K presented by Wells Fargo is back!

Tomorrow at 8 AM, hundreds of runners will hit the starting line and race their way through the fairgrounds! 🏁

🚨 All Fair entrances and surrounding areas will be closed from 7:30–9:30 AM due to the race. Please plan accordingly and allow extra time for arrival!

The heart of the Fair lives in “The Barn”. 💛

Yesterday’s Charity Preview was made even more special by a truly heartwarming speech from LC Scramlin, Director of Agriculture and Livestock for the Michigan State Fair.

The Fair simply wouldn’t be what it is today without the knowledge, passion and dedication that LC and the entire Scramlin family have poured into it over the years.

What many people don’t see from the outside is the countless hours of work, planning, problem-solving and big ideas that go into bringing the Fair to life. Behind every exhibit, animal, event and experience is a team of people who care deeply about this tradition and the community it brings together.

The incredible teamwork between the Scramlin and Bowman families has helped bring the vision for the Fair to life while honoring its rich history and preserving the deep roots it has in Michigan’s agriculture and livestock industries.

A heartfelt thank you to LC, the Scramlin family, the Bowman family and everyone who works behind the scenes to make the Michigan State Fair what it is today. Your passion, dedication and love for this Fair are felt in every corner, and we’re so grateful.

Here’s to continuing the tradition and creating memories for generations to come!
