This National Volunteer Week, as we reflect on our young adult programming, we want to extend a sincere thank you to all of our volunteers.

Last week, students from Cesar Chavez Academy joined us through a partnership with University of Michigan's GEARUp program for a financial literacy workshop and career panel. The event would not have been possible without our volunteer financial instructor and the panelists who generously gave their time and shared their knowledge with the students.

We’re grateful for the impact you continue to make. Thank you!

One of our biggest priorities this year has been expanding opportunities for young adults.

Over the past month, we welcomed students from Jalen Rose Leadership Academy and EMU’s GEAR UP program to our Learning Center in Novi for financial literacy presentations, an office tour of a financial planning firm, and a career panel featuring professionals from a variety of fields.

We look forward to welcoming another group of students next month and continuing to create opportunities that help young people explore careers and build financial knowledge.

A special thank you to Everest Guerra , Tiffany Wong, Rich Brouckaert, Sandra Bailey- Shackelford, and Meredith Vyn for sharing their time and insights during the career panels.
