As the school year comes to a close, we are excited to recognize the recipients of our Youth Recognition Awards from Novi High School! These students were nominated by their teachers for being outstanding, kind, and creative leaders among their peers. We are incredibly proud of the amazing students in our community and honored to celebrate them with this special recognition. Congratulations to all of this year’s recipients! 🎉

We wanted to take a moment to honor our final Nancy Okray Scholarship recipient, Daniel Lin of Novi High School.

We were honored to attend the Novi High School Scholarship Breakfast yesterday morning and celebrate this year’s outstanding recipients.

Novi Youth Assistance’s Nancy Okray Scholarship was awarded to senior Kylee Salesky, a truly deserving recipient. Kylee plans to attend the University of Tampa this fall, and we know she will go on to accomplish great things.

Congratulations, Kylee, and congratulations to all of this year’s Novi High School graduating seniors! We are proud of you and excited for what’s ahead.

Yesterday we held our annual fundraiser to help support children and families in our community. We are so grateful to all the families who came out to skate and helped make it such a wonderful event.

A special thank you to Novi Ice Arena for hosting us and for including skate rentals as part of the event. We also want to thank our incredibly generous community partners, IMA Sports Novi, Kid Chemist Novi and Kidcreate Studio, for donating amazing raffle prizes.

We truly appreciate the support of our community and everyone who helped make this event a success. Your generosity helps us continue supporting the youth and families of Novi.

Novi Youth Assistance will be at NPL on Tuesday, April 14 from 10am-11am & 6-7pm to provide a refresher on how NYA came to be, what they are doing in the community, and how they can provide support to your family! Register on novilibrary.org/events or call 248-349-0720.

Participants will learn about the services NYA offers, including casework, scholarships, mentoring and holiday support. The presentation will also outline opportunities for community members to get involved in supporting local youth and strengthening families.
