Kirchtag ❤️

Some performances are about more than taking the floor.

Kirchtag is a day to celebrate our Gottscheer heritage and culture, to gather as a community, and to remember those who came before us, the generations who carried these traditions forward and made it possible for us to continue them today.

We are incredibly proud to play a small part in keeping those traditions alive and to share this community with the EOUV Club Members, Gottscheer Heimatchor, and Gottscheer Blaskapelle.

Today was about music, dancing, family, friendship, remembrance, and celebrating the heritage that connects us all.

Here’s to those who came before us, those carrying the traditions today, and the generations who will carry them forward. 💙🤍

Yesterday we were busy helping kick off the very first Granville Oktoberfest! 🍻🥨🇩🇪

A huge THANK YOU to the Granville Oktoberfest crew for inviting us to be part of their inaugural event and for giving us the honor of being the very first performance to take the stage! We had such a great time dancing, celebrating, and helping get year one started. ❤️

The weather mostly cooperated, and we were especially thankful for that covered stage when it didn’t.

Congratulations on a fantastic first Oktoberfest, Granville! We hope this is the start of a tradition for many years to come. 🍻

And our weekend isn’t over yet! Next up: EOUV Club Kirchtag TODAY! See you there! 💃🕺

Columbus Oktoberfest is always one of our favorite (and busiest!) weekends of the year! 🇩🇪🍻

There may not be a full group picture this time around, but getting everyone together is becoming nearly impossible when there’s so much to enjoy and prepare for every hour. So instead, enjoy a few photos of us doing what we love most: performing for all of you!

While the wet weather unfortunately rained out our final two stage performances on Sunday, the safety of all performers always comes first. We’re grateful the skies cleared Saturday evening and stayed cooperative for most of Sunday, giving us plenty of opportunities to dance, celebrate, and enjoy another fantastic Columbus Oktoberfest.

📅 See you on Sunday, September 20 at the EOUV Club for Kirchtag
