"They" say theres no such thing as bad publicity, 🤣My 501(c)(3) nonprofit event, The Vern Glenn Invitational got a mention during Tuesday night's SF Giants postgame show. Former Giant Shawn Estes brought it up to host Bonta Hill on NBC Sports Bay Area. Enjoy this clip.
You are welcomed to join us for the 4th VGI, scheduled for June 6th, 2027 (Dinner/Auction Gala in The Clubhouse at Peacock Gap San Rafel) and June 7th, 2027 ( Celebrity Golf Tournament at Marin Country Club in Novato).

On the day of the 49ers season opener, I feel like I've already won. William "Bar None" Floyd, star 49ers fullback on the 1995 Super Bowl Champion, texted to tell me he is playing in the 4th Vern Glenn Invitational, June 6 & 7, 2027. This is going to be a fundraiser any Niners fan will be thrilled to be a part of.

First time I publicly broke out my NFL Alumni Honorary Member “fit”. It was the 49ers Legends event at Kezar Stadium, the original home of the 49ers (1946-1970). I received the jacket as the 2026 winner of the RC Owens “Helping Hands” Award for community service. So honored to be involved in this ever building Vern Glenn Invitational, which raises monies for kids/families from underserved diverse backgrounds, families of fallen first responders, and kids who are bullied, introverts, left out victims of violence in schools and at home. 49ers & HOF great Bryant Young liked it.
