These significant Awards recognized Ricky Godoy from the Novato Fire Protection District and Sgt. Highlights from the May 21, 2026 Meeting
Tour de Novato Momentum
Daniel Mikkola shared an energizing update on the Tour de Novato, and you could feel the excitement building. A huge success. This event continues to be one of Novato’s signature celebrations of fitness, family, and community spirit.
Youth Service Month in Full Swing
May is Youth Service Month, and our club showed up strong. We recognized several of our 2026 school scholarship recipients, each one a reminder that the future is bright when we invest in young people.
Global Impact Through Voces y Manos
Michael Bakal gave an inspiring update on Voces y Manos and their youth-led climate resilience work in Guatemala. It’s powerful to see Novato-connected leadership making a difference across borders.
Novato High School Garden Ribbon Cutting
We celebrated the ribbon cutting for the Novato High School garden project — a beautiful example of hands-on learning, sustainability, and community partnership.
MCAL League Champs!
A huge shoutout to the Novato High School Hornets, now officially MCAL League Champions. Their success is even sweeter knowing it’s part of our club’s 3‑year commitment to supporting Novato High athletics. Go Hornets!
SMART System Update
We also heard from Eddy Cumins, General Manager of SMART, who shared where the rail system stands today and what the future may hold. Insightful, forward‑looking, and full of possibilities for regional mobility.
