Thank you all so much for your care and concern! 🌧️💙

Following the hurricane Simon, which brought heavy rain and strong winds, we want to reassure you that the entire Project Amigo team & students is safe and sound.

We are deeply grateful for all of your prayers, messages, and kind words. Knowing we have such a caring network of friends and donors means the world to us. 🙏✨

Sending warm wishes to everyone!

Inspiring news from Project Amigo! At Project Amigo, we truly believe that young people are unstoppable when they unite to help others.

We want to give a special shoutout to Will Fumia from Second Touch Soccer, who on his own initiative started a fundraising campaign to support our upcoming Christmas celebration. With the help of his friends, this campaign is already making a incredible impact!

Will has a big heart, and he proves that kindness knows no borders. Thank you to Will and everyone supporting this campaign!

Put your hands together with us—we're in full celebration mode!

This month, the Galardón a la Juventud Comalteca 2026 (Comala Youth award 2026) took place—an award honoring the talent, effort, discipline, and drive of young leaders in our region. The ceremony was led by Comalas mayor Dany Orozco, who recognized each of the inspiring awardees.

We are thrilled to share that our very own student, María José Martínez Pérez, was honored with this prestigious award in the category of Strengthening Culture and Artistic Expression!

María José’s passion and commitment to the arts inspire everyone at Project Amigo every single day.
Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement—we are honored to have you with us!

Estamos muy orgullosos de ti María José!

Our becarios along with the Volunteers enjoyed days full of fun activities, our becarios act a beautiful representation of the “Grito de Independencia”, traditional games, delicious food, cooking clases, strengthening the bonds of friendship and community.

We are proud to welcome visitors from San Diego, CA, to our "Fiesta Mexicana" Service Week. Along with enjoying the rich aromas, flavors, and vibrant colors of traditional Mexican food and taking part in Mexican Independence Day celebrations, our service weeks always feature one of our most meaningful traditions: delivering mini-libraries to local primary schools and preschools, where we are always welcomed with open arms.
