Please join us on Monday, May 18th at 6 PM at Sam's Place and welcome our speakers,Tim and Laurel Reader. Tim and Laurel manage the Northern California chapter of Harvest Eco-Salvage, which officially launched in the Bay Area in October 2023.
Harvest Eco-Salvage is now in its 27th year of service. It was originally founded in Scottsdale, Arizona by architect and contractor Linda Eales, who recognized the environmental cost of sending valuable building materials to landfills during demolition and major renovation. Working directly with the IRS, she established Harvest as a nonprofit, IRS-compliant program that allows homeowners to receive charitable tax deductions based on real property donations rather than personal property valuations.
Tim brings over 40 years of experience in high-end architectural design and drafting, and worked with Linda early in his career in custom home design. With a deep understanding of how homes are built—from start to finish—he also understands the most effective and responsible way to take them apart. Laurel complements that with more than 30 years as a paralegal and office manager, along with 10 years as a licensed landscape contractor.
With chapters now operating across multiple states, Tim and Laurel bring this proven, stewardship-driven model to Northern California homeowners and communities. We hope you can join us!
