The ONLY pictures we got from yesterday. The calm before the chaos.
We couldn’t have asked for a better bingo event yesterday! We were feeling anxious hosting a bingo in a different venue. A space we weren’t used to. We weren’t used to not having a full kitchen. We had round tables vs only rectangle tables. We had to have a different set up in the front room for checking in. It’s amazing how many moving parts come into play to make an event of this size flow. Maybe some this was their first time at one of our bingos and maybe others you have been to a few before, we definitely tried our very best yesterday.
We want to give a shout out to every single person who volunteered yesterday. In whatever shape or form, we thank you! We couldn’t do this with out each of you. Truly, we are thankful for such a great team of friends and family to help us. From set up, running errands, tear down, food prep and food service, baking/cooking items, running around like a crazy person. Dealing with high stress at times and total chaos, we are beyond blessed to have such caring people in our corner ♥️
We want to also thank our guests, what a fun crowd! We truly put our everything into these events because we want you to have fun. We hope that you did!!
Lastly, we want to thank the barn of Nottingham. What a top notch facility to host an event. We have never felt so seen or understood or cared for hosting an event, like I did yesterday and through out the entire planning process. Kudos to Mallory, their event manager. I mean this lady just goes above and beyond like I’ve never experienced with event managers. She’s a true gem that made this event process smooth and successful. She is so nice too and that’s an understatement. She truly cares about her event hosts and it showed. We also had 2 “barn” employees helping at the event to keep things cleaned up and running smoothly and they were on it. They didn’t let the trash overflow, they didn’t miss anything. We are looking forward to our November bingo which is a G*U*N bingo, at the same location. Stay tuned for ticket info to come later.
PS- we had probably 30+ people reach out over the last 4-5 days and even the day of (yesterday) trying to purchase tickets for our event. We felt bad having to turn folks away. We have a capacity number we have to stick to. Our guests comfort is our #1 priority. We don’t want anyone feeling crammed or uncomfortable. We strongly suggest getting tickets in advance for our next bingo, save the date awhile November 14th! Ticket price for that bingo will vary from $50-$75, we have to work with a supplier on pricing and make sure we compile a prize list that is what our guests would like. Another Saturday evening and also BYOB again!! This bingo will be 18+ only.
