Hey American Red Cross Club!

Notre Dame Day is officially starts tonight, but you can start voting now at the link below for American Red Cross Club (donations end Tuesday, April 24 at 12:11 AM).

Here's how it works: For your first gift of $10 or more you will receive five (5) votes. Each additional gift (minimum of $10) will receive one (1) vote per gift. BUT, if you use a different credit/debit card, you can get 5 votes for each new card you use!

Your votes will help determine the allocation of a $1.1 Million Challenge Fund that will be awarded to areas based on the percentage of votes they receive.

We are counting on YOU to ask your friends and family to graciously donate $10 and 5 votes to American Red Cross Club on Notre Dame Day.

The American Red Cross Club at the University of Notre Dame is a small part of the international organization, the American Red Cross. We work with the Northern Indiana chapter of the American Red Cross to coordinate five blood drives every year, home fire safety campaigns on one Saturday per month,...

Hello Fellow Travelers of Spaceship "Earth",

72 units of blood were collected on Sep. 18th and over 200 lives were saved as a result! The next blood drive is Tuesday, Nov. 14th, the LaFun Ballroom from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The Soldier's Angels committee is meeting this week to decide on a soldier to send baked goods and letters to. Contact Julia @ [email protected] if would you wanna help bake or write letters. They will also be discussing an event for Veteran's Day.

Dues for the club are $10, and for an extra $5 you can get a pretty "hip" and "phresh" t-shirt seen below.

If you want to sign up to be a volunteer and were not able to attend the meeting, you can fill out the form below and email it back to us. Make sure to use your dorm address and your school email.

We are always looking for more dorm representatives (Alumni, Keough, Keenan, Morrissey, and Zahm still need dorm reps!) and committee members so feel free to sign up for anything that you may or may not be interested.

Hello to all the men, women, and children following the Notre Dame Red Cross Club page,

We thought it would be wise to let all know that the “Sound the Alarm” home fire campaign that was scheduled for Sept. 23 to Oct. 15th has been postponed. The unprecedented call for volunteers and financial support for the relief efforts in Texas and the expected massive response we will have for the disaster relief efforts due to Hurricane Irma have caused this postponement most likely until Spring of 2018.

The American Red Cross has recently deployed nearly 4,000 volunteers, close to 100 from Indiana, to Texas, and it expects to deploy at least that many to those directly affected by the path of Irma.

Since we do not want to stretch ourselves too thin with our trained volunteers out of the state for several weeks at a time, we are working with local fire departments in St. Joseph County to determine if they want to adopt a new strategy for our home fire campaign locally. We will let everyone know once a new plan-of-attack is decided on for the "South the Alarm" campaign. Until then, we appreciate your patience as well as your continued support for those affected by Harvey and Irma.

Howdy pals and palominos, thanks to those that were able to make it out to the meeting yesterday! What a great turnout!!!

One of the most pertinent topics discussed was the sign-up to become more involved in some of the committees or even be a dorm representative. The committees are an amazing opportunity to become more involved in the club and participation shows commitment to that area of the club, allowing the officers to rely on people when needed.
