Celebrate the end of summer with us tomorrow, August 26th, from 6-7 PM by playing some water games on the front lawn! Please wear a bathing suit or something you don’t mind getting wet. The library will be closing at 5:30 PM for this event. This program is for incoming grades 6-12. ☀️🎉🌺

Join us Wednesday, August 12 from 6–8 PM while the library is closed for an exclusive after-hours hangout! We’ll have games, drawing, and plenty of chill time. GSK: Science in the Summer: Be a Chemist

The Norwood Public Library is excited to partner with The Franklin Institute to present GSK Science in the Summer! The FREE program is intended for children entering 2nd through 6th grades. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
Chemistry is the "study of stuff." In these sessions, you will learn all about different chemistry fields, test products, experiment with substances, and learn how chemistry work
Libraries will offer career activities as part of the program, using the same curriculum. Students completing activities will receive a complimentary ticket to the Franklin Institute.

Beginning Monday, June 15, 2026 to Thursday, August 13, 2026, the Norwood Public Library will be offering free summer lunches from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Lunches will be available for children ages 18 and under on a first come, first serve basis, no registration required! Lunches must be consumed at the Norwood Public Library and may not be taken from the premises. Call the Library @610-534-0693 for more information. 🥪📖
