The Chenango Blues Association (C.B.A) is a nonprofit 501(C)3 organization whose mission is to foster an appreciation of uniquely American music forms including blues, jazz, zydeco and gospel. Our Organization

The Chenango Blues Fest is the 2016 recipient of The Blues Foundations Keeping the Blues Alive award as well as a two time recipient of the Russell J. Perlman Award for the most outstanding

project to apply for a NYS Decentralization grant, which is administered by the Chenango Arts Fund. are governed by a volunteer board of directors consisting of thirteen community members drawn from Chenango County. There is no paid staff and no office expense so all contributions directly increase our ability to expand programming. are a mid-August Blues Festival weekend held at the Chenango County Fairgrounds, 168 East Main St. in Norwich, NY and a Free Summer Concert Series held in East Park, Norwich in which we present different genres of music including Zydeco, Jazz, Bluegrass, Big-Band Swing orchestra, Americana, Country Rock and Reggae. These events collectively draw thousands of people from throughout the Northeast. Smith Foundation

We are truly grateful for the strong support NBT Bank has given the Chenango Blues Association over the many years. Their recent five year commitment only deepens that support and allows us to do long term planning. NBT really lives their commitment to community service. Presenting the kind of high quality artists we have been able to attract, and to have those be free for everyone to attend, is only possible with this kind of financial commitment.

🎶 As part of NBT's 170th Birthday Bash, we were proud to announce a $170,000 sponsorship commitment to the Chenango Blues Association that will support the NBT Bank Summer Concert Series for the next five years.

This commitment reflects our ongoing investment in the communities we serve and will help ensure that friends, families and neighbors can continue gathering in East Park to enjoy live music for years to come.

UPDATE: Looks like some storms may roll through the area in mid to late afternoon but at show time it should be light or no rain so the show will go on in East Park. Bring a raincoat just in case! In the event of any dangerous weather we will pause the show and resume when it’s safe to do so. Let’s close out the season in style!
