Today the Guns N Hoses would have taken the ice for our 7th Annual Guns N Hoses Charity Hockey Game. Instead of battling it out on the ice, the men and women of both teams are patrolling the great City of Norwich battling an invisible enemy. We're sure everyone's tired of being cooped up in the house but we know it's ultimately for everyone's well-being. When things start to get back to the new "normal” and the time is right to do so safely, we look forward to the moment we will be able to get back together as a community to support a great cause! Until then, Stay Safe, Stay Home, wash your hands but most importantly; be kind to one another. Know the Guns N Hoses can't wait to see you all in the future!!

On behalf of the Norwich Guns N Hoses Hockey Teams, we sincerely regret to inform you the 7th Annual Guns N Hoses Charity Hockey Game has been postponed. The decision was not made lightly. We have taken into consideration the COVID- 19 restrictions from local, state and federal government and feel this is the best choice to safeguard the community and all participants. Our main concern is the health, safety and well being of all involved and hope you will understand. We would like to thank our community and those who have already committed to sponsorships. We shall continue to navigate through this together and look forward to seeing you all in the future. Until then, please take the proper health and safety precautions and be kind to one another. We as a community can and will get through anything!

Thank you for supporting the community!

The Annual Guns N Hoses Charity Hockey Game between the Norwich CT Police Department and the Fire Department was created in 2014. The game affords police officers and firefighters the opportunity to provide a fun-filled, family friendly event which combines both rivalry and celebration of the hard work by the men and women in both departments. The game also acts as a way for us give back to the community we serve in by raising and donating funds. Proceeds from this annual event benefit families affected by cancer, the Police Athletic League (PAL) and the Norwich Youth Athletics (including the Southeastern Connecticut Youth Hockey team, the Seahawks who play at the RoseGarden Ice Arena). We believe everyone plays a part as we humbly rely solely on the donations and support from members of the community and businesses throughout Connecticut. With that said, the @NorwichCTGunsNHosesHockey would like to express our gratitude because without your support, we would not exist!
