A great time was had by more than 50 revelers at the celebration of Twelfth Night held on Saturday 1/24 held at Grace Episcopal Church in Yantic. The feast consisted of 3 courses comprising of 14 dishes which was served on a Trencher which is a round half-loaf of bread which was our plate. Recipes for the food came from Richard II's cook book which was adapted by our head cooks Lion Dale Plummer and Lion Janine Katomski. The event was sponsored by the Norwich Lions Club with proceeds benefiting the Southeastern CT Center of the Blind. Special thanks to 3 members of the Ledyard Lions Club who assisted. Period attire was encouraged to be worn. Overseeing the event were the Lord and Lady of Misrule. Fantastic food, company and fun. SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!
