Upper Valley Trails Alliance Promoting Trails, Connecting Communities! www.uvtrails.org UVTA's methodology includes Stewardship, Outreach, and Education.

The Upper Valley Trails Alliance is a non-profit in the Upper Valley Region that:
*connects people and places through a regional trail network
*leads a coalition of local trail groups and advocates, and
*promotes active lifestyles through trail use in all seasons. There is no other entity filling the need to coordinate and maximize the efforts of the various trail-related organizations throughout the area. Go outside and take in the leaves with a hike at Parcel 5 Multi-Use Trail in Norwich, VT!

This moderately difficult trail includes gentle and steep climbs throughout, loops around a vernal pool, descends through a narrow valley, and offers a few shortcuts if you're strapped for time. It is comfortably wide for both hikers and bikers, though bikers should follow the loop in a clockwise direction.

UVTA doesn't just build trails. We partner with trail managers in many different ways—including taking over trail maintenance.

We are partnered with the West Windsor Conservation Commission to maintain the Bicentennial Trail on Mount Ascutney. And last week we spent the day clearing the season's overgrowth on an exposed section of the trail.

Fall hikers can now enjoy a cleared and unmistakable route to sweeping foliage views from this historic ski trail section and from the summit. 🍂

While we're enjoying peak autumn in Vermont, we'll be getting dirty repairing and improving the Chase Hollow Trail at Wrights Mountain.
