Norwich 4-H Backers

This year, we added a new element to our program with a focus on education and financial literacy. Our new Profit & Loss Contest challenged exhibitors to track the income and expenses of their livestock projects, then summarize what they learned and identify ways they could improve their profitability next year.

Every participant earned a $50 add-on, and the top participant in each division received an additional $250 for their outstanding work!

A huge thank you to ALL of our supporters! Your support helps us teach valuable real-world financial skills that these young exhibitors can carry with them for years to come. We appreciate your investment in the future of our 4-H and FFA youth! And thank you to our judges for Harper County , Brad Davis from Bank of the Plains, Curt Clark from Bank of Commerce and Kelly Stewart from Dream First Bank , the feedback provided to the kids will definitely help them improve for next years contest!

Fair week is almost here, and we’re excited to share Volume 3 of the Norwich 4-H Backers Newsletter!

We hope you’ll take a few minutes to read through it and help us celebrate these incredible youth as they prepare to showcase months of dedication, responsibility, and perseverance at the Harper County Fair.
