Call for Submissions – Quarry Stories
Plum Creek Editions is seeking submissions for our inaugural publication, Quarry Stories.

The stone quarry has long been a fixture of our community—a place of work, play, mischief, and memory. We know so many of you have stories about it, and we want to capture them here.
We invite you to submit your fictional, non-fictional, or even wildly delusional memories tied to the stone quarry. There are no word count restrictions—just send us your best stories.

Deadline for submissions: May 31st, 2025
Publication & release date: Colorscape Weekend, September 6th, 2025

All proceeds from this edition will be donated to The Chenango Greenway.

3rd Tuesday night Norwich Community MTB ride of the summer last night - we made our way from the CIT trail head up thru the Little Quarry over to the Big Quarry and the Face (Norwich Overlook) last night!! It was hot but a great ride overall!! Every Tuesday at 6pm sharp!! Come ride with us!!

The Galena Growlers have been loving the trails at the Quarry.. our last New York State NICA race is this weekend!! The Growlers helped open up the Zip Line trail that traverses the hill below the Quarry face - an old logging road... give it a try!!
