Mother Nature showed us some grace on Monday and we had a fantastic 5th Annual Memorial Day Open House with about 300 visitors! It was a great opportunity to see old friends, make new friends, and for the community to have a sneak peak inside the Grange! We have many people to thank for making the day possible: Norwell High School for accommodating parking; Hornstra Farms for donating the juices; Shaws, Stop & Shop, Big Y, Market Basket and Michael’s for donating food and supplies; Plymouth County 4-H and All Stars 4-H club for bringing sheep; the Merritt Family Homestead for their display on chicks; FoxRock Farms for their display on bees; Norwell Historical Society for their display on Wanton Shipyard history; “Ask a Master Gardener” by the Massachusetts Master Gardener Association; our volunteer face painters; Bobby Curtin for providing sound and music; and Judy Petraske for the lawn signs!

A special thank you to our Event Committee - Danielle, Donna, Erica (Chair), Mary Beth, Meg, Sharon and Susan for organizing the day and to our other Grange members Ann, Bob, Fred, Grace, Harry, Jeff, John, Kate, Kiely, Matt, Mary, Mike, Rick C., Rick M. and Ridley who also worked hard getting the building set up, helped with publicity and during the event. Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out to support us! We are so grateful to be part of this wonderful community. Watch for photos coming later this week!

📷 If you have photos that we can share, please send them to us at [email protected].

📨 If you'd like to be on our email list for future events, drop us a note with your name and email at [email protected].
