Oxford County Wellness Collaborative

Oxford County Wellness Collaborative A network of partners working together to make our county the healthiest in Maine and one of the most desirable in which to live, work, and raise a family.

We want to hear from our partners and community members. Please review our guidelines at https://www.mainehealth.org/Patients-Visitors/Patient-Rights-Privacy/Social-Media-Policy. We support improved health for all people across Oxford County. One way we do this is by connecting people with the resources that they need to live healthier, happier lives. Looking for a resource? Let us help you find i

t! Please give us a call or send a message.

โ€‹We also support collaborative work toward improving health. We are a network with members across the county and from a wide range of backgrounds. Our members have a lot to offer one another, from sharing knowledge to providing particular skills and services. By bringing these gifts together, we can accomplish more together than we might separately. We were born out of a desire to help people work together in a "smarter, not harder" fashion toward shared goals, and are committed to serving in that role. OCWC is administered by Healthy Oxford Hills, a department of MaineHealth Stephens Hospital.

About 1 in 6 Americans experience Substance Use Disorder in the past year.* These are friends, neighbors, coworkers, family members. They're not "those people." They're us.

Addiction is disease that changes how our brains work. You can learn more here: https://youtu.be/RZ5LH634W8s

FARMINGTON, ME โ€” The Western Maine CA$H and LA CA$H coalitions have officially merged to form the Community CA$H Coalition of Western Maine, strengthening our commitment to providing free tax preparation services to individuals and families across the region.

As part of this transition, the Western Maine CA$H phone number has changed. Clients should now call 207โ€‘739โ€‘6530 to schedule their tax appointments. Further, an additional site for services has been added in East Wilton at Western Maine Community Action, located at 20 Church Street.

For faster and more convenient scheduling, clients can also book appointments online using our new scheduling link: Online Appointment Scheduling Software | EZnet Scheduler - Client Scheduling Calendar

Please note: The only changes for this yearโ€™s tax preparation program are the location and phone number. The same experienced team that has served the community in prior years will be back to run the program.

Who qualifies?
Free tax preparation is available to anyone who earns less than $69,000 per year.

The Community CA$H Coalition remains dedicated to helping households access valuable tax credits and financial resources. Please share this information widely to ensure community members know how to connect with us this tax season.

It's happening! Weโ€™re beginning our transportation program with rides to and from the Wednesday meetings at The HILLS. ๐Ÿš
We know getting here isnโ€™t always easy in a rural community, and we're very excited to add this important new support in a way that is both reliable and sustainable. Weโ€™re launching this for Wednesday's evening groups only to start and taking a route-by-route approach.
