Melissa Chapman, President of Stone-Smart Post 82, Norway, ME, presented American Legion Auxiliary Department of Maine President Linda Jack with a $1,000.00 check to support her mission of providing veterans with a complimentary guided group trip to Washington, D.C., on an upcoming Honor Flight Maine.
To date a total of $15,000.00 has been donated to President Jack’s 2025/2026 administrative project meaning that fifteen current Maine resident veterans selected to go on an Honor Flight will get to go to Washington, D.C., to tour, experience, and reflect on their monuments.
