Hornet/Trojan Alumni Association The Hornet-Trojan Alumni Association is the union of the Norfield Alumni and the Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Alumni Associations.

Our history began when the doors of Norfield 12 Year School opened in 1954. Prior to this, the education system in the Neeses, Norway Prior to this, the education system in the Neeses, Norway and Springfield areas included the following: Sand Hill in Neeses, SC, Rocky Swamp and West Willow both located in Norway, SC, Goodwill Elementary, SandPark and Springfield Rosen Wald all located in Springfie

ld, SC. The schools in these areas integrated and the school’s name was changed to Hunter-Kinard in 1972 and later changed to Hunter-Kinard-Tyler High School in 1982 .
