The Agricultural Heritage Society Of Huron County Ohio is still looking for a steam engine to run our saw mill for our 250th anniversary! The Huron County Fair is August 16-22nd 2026. We would love to have one it was a huge attraction last year.

If anyone knows anyone with one and would like to participate please message us here or come to a meeting!

We can supply coal, wood, water, a free week fair pass to get in, a west lot pass and help with set up and tear down. We just require insurance on the engine itself.

We usually run wood Monday through Thursday so you wouldn’t need to stay the whole week but you can if you would like to.

The Huron County Agriculture Heritage Society has organized and run the Agricultural Heritage area at the Huron County Fair since 1975. We identify, document, safeguard, preserve and teach the by gone days and the earlier ways of farming and agricultural related craft to benefit our youth and future generations.
​We are always looking for local businesses or individuals to help continue building and growing our Agricultural Heritage Society. So we are asking for sponsors for the Heritage Area of the 2026 Huron County Fair. The sponsorship levels are

• Donate to Stew - under $25(no plaque)
• Bronze Level​​ - ​$25.00 - $50.00
• Silver Level ​​ -​$50.00 - $75.00
• Gold Level ​​ - ​$75.00 or more

​If donate you will receive a plaque to keep for yourself that says you proudly supported and sponsored the 2026 Huron County Agricultural Heritage Society(picture at the bottom). AND if you donate more than $25, during the Fair we will have 3D printed plaques on our sponsorship board in the heritage area. The plaque will display which ever name you would like on your plaque.

Support our local community!

We are going to be hosting a Harvest Festival on 9/12/26 sponsoring Lake Erie Antique Power Branch 103. We are looking for vendors: craft, farm market, oil & gas antiques, etc. If you'd be interested or know someone who might be, please message us for info. As it will be our first event like this, sites will be free.
