The Board of Trustees of the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) has reappointed Jere Shawver as Chair of the Private Company Council (PCC), along with PCC members David Finkelstein, CPA, CGMA, Brad Hendricks, and David Hoagland, to serve second terms on the Council. Each will begin an additional term on January 1, 2027, concluding on December 31, 2029.

Congratulations to the reappointed members, and thank you for your continued leadership, service, and contributions to private company financial reporting.

The Board of Trustees of the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) announce the appointment of Jacqueline L. Reck to serve a one-year term as the Vice Chair of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). Her appointment will be effective July 1, 2026. Ms. Reck will succeed Jeffrey J. Previdi, who will complete his service to the Board on June 30.

We congratulate Ms. Reck on her appointment and thank Mr. Previdi for his dedicated service and contributions to the GASB and the governmental financial reporting community.

The Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) Board of Trustees has announced the search for a new member of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). The seven-member, part-time Board will have an open seat beginning on July 1, 2027.

The Board of Trustees of the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) has announced the appointment of three new members and eleven reappointed members to the Governmental Accounting Standards Advisory Council (GASAC). All appointee’s terms will begin January 1, 2026.

The three new GASAC members will serve a two-year term and are eligible to be reappointed for up to two additional consecutive two-year terms. They are:

• Tyler Montana Prescott, Clarke County
• Jamie Wayman, Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System
• Dr. Linda Ragland, University of New Hampshire

Members being reappointed to a second two-year team are:

• Deborah Miller, State of Illinois
• David Goldman, Oak Harbor, WA
• John Liszewski, City of Yonkers, NY
• Christine Clarke, State of Kansas
• Robert Weber, Moody’s Investors Service
• Robert Bland, University of Northern Texas
• Michelle Watterworth, Plante Moran

Members being reappointed to a third and final term are:
