Did your baby go away to college this weekend and you suddenly find yourself with a quiet house and more time on your hands?!

What if you used some of that time to make a big difference in a child’s life?

We’re looking for new (or experienced!) empty nesters who are ready to share their time, life experience, encouragement, and maybe a few laughs with a child in our mentoring program.

Being a mentor doesn’t mean having all the answers. It means showing up, listening, having fun, and being someone a child can count on. Whether you grab ice cream, play a game, go for a walk, work on a project, or simply hang out—you’re giving a child something incredibly valuable: your time and your presence.

Ready for your next chapter to include making a difference?
We have 75 kids across Huron County who are looking for that person in their life ❤️

Last week, our program director had her first baby 🩷

With that exciting news, she will be on maternity leave for the next 3 months and the office will run slowly. We are still accepting volunteer & child applications, the follow up will just be shorter during this time. Thank you all for understanding!!
