What a night in the community! 🌙✨

Last night, Keystone House was proud to join the Norwalk Police Department and our fellow community organizations for National Night Out in Norwalk, CT.

We loved having the opportunity to connect with our neighbors, introduce people to Keystone House, and share more about our mission of supporting adults living with mental illness in our community.

National Night Out is all about building connections, strengthening community partnerships, and bringing neighbors and local organizations together—and we were grateful to be part of it!

A big thank you to the Norwalk Police Department for organizing such a wonderful evening and to everyone who stopped by our table to say hello. We look forward to continuing to build a stronger, more connected Norwalk together.

Keystone was honored to welcome Norwalk Mayor Barbara Smyth for a special visit to our organization. The visit provided an opportunity to showcase our programs, introduce the people we serve, and share how our dedicated staff work each day to support individuals on their journey toward recovery, independence, and community integration.

We appreciated the opportunity to discuss the importance of accessible mental health services and the positive impact that strong community partnerships have on those we serve. We are grateful for the Mayor's time, interest, and support of our mission.

Visits like these help strengthen relationships with local leaders and raise awareness of the vital role Keystone House plays in promoting hope, recovery, and inclusion.

Good food, great company, and a beautiful backyard made possible by an incredible group of volunteers. 🌞

We recently welcomed the FactSet team back to our St. John Street home for a barbecue to thank them for all of their hard work. It was so special to see everyone enjoying the pergola, garden beds, benches, and refreshed outdoor space they helped create.

The impact of volunteerism extends far beyond a single day—it builds community, creates lasting memories, and reminds us how much we can accomplish when we work together.

Thank you, FactSet, for your generosity and for being such wonderful partners to Keystone House!

Mental Health Month might have just ended, but we're still thinking about all the great stuff that happened in May. Here's a quick recap:

Homefront Day at Keystone
On May 2, volunteers from FactSet rehabilitated the grounds of one of Keystone's 24-hour group homes. An amazing crew from FactSet donated their time, effort, and resources to help rehabilitate the backyard on one of Keystone’s group homes. What an incredible crew!

NorWALK for Mental Health: Walk + Wellness Fair
Also on May 2, Keystone Staff and Crew participated in the Mental Health Walk on the Green in Norwalk. The Keystone crew was there, loud and proud. Our very own, Tanju was interviewed by News 12.

Mental Health Day at Keystone!
Keystone House celebrated Mental Health Month with a little get down with our residents. No amount of rain could dampen these spirits from gettin' their boogie on.

Celebrating Haitian Culture
Each month Keystone celebrates diversity and culture. In May, we celebrated Haitian heritage by learning about the culture while dining on excellent Haitian cuisine. Amazing!

Getting Zen with the Handpan Drum
We can't forget the visit from Keystone volunteer Brian Metter in May. Brian introduced our CLC program to the meditative sounds of the handspan drum and other relaxing percussive instruments. We couldn't help but feel centered after the session. Thanks, Brian!

Today nonprofits statewide gathered to make a case for increased funding and support. Nonprofits are the heart of CT. Without us, many of the states most vulnerable citizens would go without the care they deserve. We deserve to be able to live where we work! Fund nonprofits!
