It is hard to believe that is has been 2 years since the mighty KFAC armada hoisted paddles and charged head on into the Long Island Sound in the name of charity. Good news! Our spirit of adventure based philanthropy is still alive and well!

During a conversation in January between The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp staff and some members of our former Kayak for a Cause committee, it was hard to contain the excitement about launching a new paddling event this summer. Camp was grateful for the support they received as one of the charity beneficiaries of Kayak for a Cause and we all realized how much fun it would be to help them launch their own Kayak for Camp!

This new event, taking place on July 12 is open to all human powered watercraft (kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, etc.) and designed for paddlers of all ability levels. It will be a top notch event with three route options, Team member benefits and a one-of-a-kind beach party finish with food, live entertainment and Two Roads Brewing Company providing craft beer sampling!

What’s more, your participation and support will help The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp provide the magic of Camp to children and families coping with serious illness.

Register today at http://www.crowdrise.com/kayakforcamp and help us spread the word!

If you have any questions, please reach out to our friends at Hole in the Wall at (203) 777-0522 or [email protected].

We plan to be there on July 12 and hope to see you as well!
All the best,

All the best,
Shirleen, Steve, Patrick & Cap'n Dave

Kayak Sale Update!
We are psyched that so many of you have said you will be coming down tomorrow to pick up one of our lightly loved battleships, here is the scoop:

- Price: $250 per boat - cash (exact change)

- Address is 345 Ely Ave, Norwalk, CT. (left side of the building)

- Doors open at 12 noon. We will be there until either all the boats are sold, or 4pm (whichever comes first)

- We have just around 30 boats to sell.

- ALL BOATS ARE 14.6", a few have rudders, most do not.

- With each purchase we will give a you a free paddle, life jacket and spray skirt while supplies last. We think we have enough for all boats, but, cannot promise.

- Preference will be given to those who have kayaked in a KFAC event in the past. If this applies to you, please make sure you bring proof of some kind. We figure if you have sweated in these boats, you get first pick!

- If it appears there is a crowd, we will limit purchases to 2 per person. If we do this, you will be welcome to buy more after the initial group of people there has a chance to buy as well.

- All sales are AS IS and FINAL. There are no returns, refunds or exchanges.

- Please bring everything you need to secure your boat to your car and take it home. We will have no rope or roof racks available.
