It gives me great honor to represent The Greater Norwalk Hipanic Chamber of Commerce as its president. As the newest organization bringing together Hispanic American businessmen and businesswomen, our aim is to work together to promote the business environment in our Norwalk community. By promoting business, opportunities for jobs grow and more people desire to live, work and play in our town. As

immigrants, or the children of immigrants of this great melting pot, our stories are many and varied, but no different than many others from around the globe that have made America their home. Our Hispanic community is one of great success in the land of opportunity. We represent a community that in comparison to the overall population and to the other ethnic and minority groups, is one of the fastest growing in the American culture. Commerce not only enriches economies between people, but it establishes a bridge, or a platform, that brings together cultures and ideas. We will draw our strength from our community, with utmost integrity, humility, and transparency. We work to provide a variety of events and training opportunities and advocacy that businesses need. We will coordinate networking events, expo events, ribbon cuttings, Business Before Hours and Business After Hours social mixers, new member Meet-N-Greets, and joint networking events with other Chambers. This is all impossible without the support from you, our community. By signing up for a membership with the GNHCC you will be helping us to succeed in our vision, as well as benefiting from our numerous events, networking opportunities, and training opportunities." Through our membership you will receive a valuable ally in Norwalk for business. We also provide numerous seminars to assist businesses in various topics and we encourage our members to suggest any needs your business might have. Politically, GNHCC, will also lobby on behalf of its community, in local and Federal governments acting its democratic rights by representing the concerns of Hispanic Americans. Furthermore, for our social obligations to our communities we plan to provide, scholarships, dinners, dialogue conferences, and support to the less fortunate. We are part of the social fabric of this great nation and with alacrity we will share ourselves to demonstrate our gratitude. Our chamber emphasizes that we are all in this together, we work to find ways for you to network with other members, have opportunities to showcase and promote your business, obtain valuable information and training, get your business name in front of potential customers and get involved in the chamber through committee membership. We are all volunteers and we expect that our members will lend a hand throughout the year with their time, talents and great ideas to continue discovering ways to promote business in our community. Our Story

The Greater Norwalk Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is a 501c6 membership organization. Although organized to promote business, we do not generate a profit and do not pay shares or dividends. Our leadership are all volunteers, lending their time, talents, and great ideas to help the organization expand its impact.

Our Mission

Since 2015, GNHCC has worked to achieve inclusion and growth for Latinx and Hispanic-owned businesses and entrepreneurs. As the fastest growing population in our region, and America as a whole, they are what make Norwalk the perfect place to do business -- an integral part of the social fabric, culture, struggles, and achievements of our nation.

Having a diverse workforce, with people from different racial, educational and social backgrounds, and a diverse age ranges, helps to encourage creativity and foster innovation. There's also a clear competitive advantage to be gained from employing a diverse workforce. An organization with a diverse range of employees is well placed to understand the needs of a wide range of customers.
