Roadside Cleanup -- This Saturday Morning!

Knights of Columbus Council 626 and Assembly 823 will be out bright and early this Saturday, August 29, picking up our adopted stretch of Rt. 61 right here in Norwalk. Meet us at the club at 9:00 am!

The more hands the better -- come join us for a couple of hours and help keep our community clean and beautiful. Trash bags and vests will be provided. Just bring your gloves and wear hard soled shoes.

This is what Knights do -- serve our community with pride. Hope to see you Saturday morning!

Calling all Knights! ✝️

This Friday, August 28, Knights of Columbus Council 626 is proud to be feeding BOTH high school bands before the big Battle of the Catholics matchup between St. Paul and Tiffin Calvert! Our local priests will be joining us for this great community event as well.

Here's what we'll be doing:

Grilling hamburgers at the Knights of Columbus
Wrapping and packing them up for the big game
Serving both bands after they come off the field

This is exactly what the Knights of Columbus is all about -- serving our community, supporting our youth, and being visible in the places that matter. What a great opportunity to show Norwalk what Council 626 is made of!

If you can lend a hand this Friday, we would love to have you. Come be part of something great!

# # # Standing for Life ❤️

We’re proud to share the new **Right to Life billboard** now standing on Joe Rospert’s property along **Route 20, east of Norwalk**.

This billboard was constructed in June by Brother Knights **Bob Ott, John Hammersmith, Tom Blechschmidt, and Phil Miller**. A big thank-you to these brothers for putting in the time and effort to make this project happen—and to Joe Rospert for allowing us to place it on his property.

The message is simple and powerful:

**LIFE — always the best CHOICE.**

Thank you to everyone who continues to stand up for the dignity and sanctity of human life. ❤️🙏

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to our monthly dinner this past Monday!

Here are the results:

Meals sold: 57
Total raised: $572

Every dollar goes toward the Ohio KofC Matching Funds Program supporting Catholic education in our diocese. We are so grateful for this community!

A special thank you to all the Brother Knights AND our wonderful volunteers who gave their time to help put on the meal. It truly takes a village and we could not do it without each and every one of you!

---

Looking ahead -- there will be NO dinner in September as the first Monday falls on Labor Day. We will see you back at the table on Monday, October 5!

Our October dinner will be a Fish Fry, thanks to Brother Kris Knight! Proceeds from the October dinner will go toward our Coats for Kids program -- helping children in our community stay warm this winter.

Mark your calendar -- Monday, October 5. More details coming soon!
