My Maera continues to make breed history, and make me proud. Bolstered by her success in Beginner Novice Obedience recently, we stepped further out of my comfort zone into Novice Obedience this month. ⁣

She earned her first two Q’s in Novice A in the two trials we entered a few weekends ago, placing first in each. And she was the only dog to qualify in either Novice A or B for her second Q! ⁣🥳

Friday we competed in two more trials, where she qualified in both, placing first in each again, and earning her Novice Obedience (CD) title in the first trial. So the second run was for fun, and to gain more ring experience (for both of us, but mostly for me 😅).⁣

A huge thank you to Joyce for helping us get ready to show in obedience and for boosting my confidence in our skills. 🥰

Pending AKC confirmation, Maera adds 𝗖𝗗 (Companion Dog) title to her name, and becomes (according to the last check) the FIRST Alaskan Klee Kai with a Novice Obedience title in AKC. I can’t be more proud of everything this little girl achieves. 💖🧜🏻‍♀️⁣
