Meet Cancer Services, a proud partner agency of the Norwalk Area United Fund. For 65+ years, they've helped Huron County residents facing a cancer diagnosis with free, practical support: transportation to treatment, financial and prescription assistance, nutritional supplements, medical equipment, and compassionate guidance. No fees. No red tape. Just help when it's needed most.

In 2025, Cancer Services supported 102 local patients!

We are still popping with excitement from the weekend! It was a blast making popcorn on Sunday and interacting with attendees at the Olde Wrestling Extravaganza in Norwalk. We would like to give a special shout out to our board member, Breanna Mantz, and her son, Isaiah, who helped bag lots of popcorn. 🍿🍿🍿🍿

Thanks again to Olde Wrestling for the invite and to each and every person who provided a donation. We were grateful to be part of the event. Your generosity will help support our mission to improve the quality of life of the communities we serve in Huron County. 💙💛💙

We wanted to extend a big THANK YOU to all those who donated to our recent Blessing Bag Drive. And, also a special SHOUT OUT to Market on Main Norwalk for collaborating with us. Even though the event was rained out, we had several special deliveries arrive to our office. We are blessed to live in a community with so many people with such BIG hearts. 💛 💙💛💙

Calling all local businesses! Sponsorship spots are still available for the second annual Maple City Half Marathon and 5K. 🍁

Nearly 400 runners and walkers joined us for the first Maple City Half Marathon & 5K, and we're aiming even higher this year. Presented by the Norwalk Area United Fund, the 2nd annual race is scheduled for Sunday, October 11 at Norwalk High School.

Spots are limited and the deadline to lock yours in is Monday, Aug. 31. Get your business in front of hundreds of runners and spectators, plus help support our mission to improve the quality of life for communities in Huron County.

Thanks to the Huron County Growth Partnership for the opportunity to hang out with them in their booth at the Huron County Fair.

Come see us from noon to 3 p.m. today. It's Kids Day and we will be handing out rulers and pencils. In addition, we will have information about First Call 211, our funded agencies and our 2027 Building a Stronger Tomorrow campaign. Hope to see you there! 🙌☀️💙💛
