Great way to kick off the year for the Ohio State Backgammon Club!

We had our first tournament of 2026 at Wing Warehouse in Norton, Ohio, with 16 players showing up to roll some dice.

Ohio State Backgammon Club Represented Well in Cleveland!

We had a strong showing at the ABT Ohio State Backgammon Championship held March 20–23 in Cleveland!

Highlights from our club:
• Jeffrey Cunningham placed 4th/5th in the Advanced Division.
• Ray Cifani took 1st place in the Limited Jackpot.
• Mike Vasilatos dominated the Warm-Up Tournament, taking 1st place.
• Bonnie Rogoff also shined in the warm-up, finishing in 3rd place.
• Joe Miller closed things out strong with a 1st place finish in the After Tourney Tournament.

Congratulations to everyone who played and represented the club. Looking forward to even more success at future events!

The Ohio State Backgammon Club gathered at Wing Warehouse in Norton for an exciting tournament filled with strategy, competition, and great camaraderie on Sunday, January 12th. Players of all skill levels brought their A-game to the boards while enjoying delicious food and drinks in a fantastic atmosphere.

Rob Crase took first. Peter Swarthout nabbed 2nd.

New Venue! We will be playing our monthly tournaments at the Wing Warehouse in Norton Ohio. It has a great space and should be a good spot. It is not too far off 76. We will look forward to seeing everybody on January 12!
