On the off chance that you haven’t been made aware….

The Boston Blues Society ( www.boston blues.org ) now has an active, up to date live music calendar page thank you Adam!). If you want your gigs listed there then email them to me ( [email protected] ) and I’ll post them. The listings are limited to New England only.

Additionally, we’re amping up to begin with email newsletters but you need to sign up through our website. It’s best to sign up again even if you think you might have in the past.

Big show this weekend! Last year was packed and a good time was had by all.

We're only putting on 2 shows in June, but they're both good uns! June marks our 5th anniversary of hosting music with our wonderful partners at Boston Harbor Distillery - please come help us celebrate!!!

SUNDAY JUNE 7 - doors at 4, show at 5;:
The 3rd Annual Boston Harbor Distillery Blues Fest!!!
As always, 3 top-notch bands: this year we are featuring Sugar Ray & the Bluetones, the Frankie EB Band & the Racky Thomas Band, with Erin Harpe's wonderful acoustic duo performing between sets. We've even got a food truck lined up - don't miss this special event!

SATURDAY JUNE 13 - doors at 8, show at 8:30;
Musella Cote Present The Music of Led Zeppelin
They don't dress up or put on airs - but if you have been to one of their shows before, you know how damn good they do Zep. Led by Joe Musella, Berklee's Classic Rock Guitar professor for a generation and Chris Cote Camberville's human vocal chord... Always a great take.

Support Live Music!

I can imagine lots of you are feeling the pinch of higher prices… they always go up and rarely drop. I can understand if that alters your entertainment habits as it has mine. 😕

There are still lots of options to hear some great music this week, with musicians from this area as well as some on tour (plans undoubtedly made when it made more sense financially) and a whole host of other great choices. If it’s within your means to go to a show I encourage you to make the effort. I’m certain that you being in the audience will make a difference in the life of the artist(s) as well as to the venue owner. They’re all depending on us for our continued support.
