All smiles at the top of the leaderboard at the U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur Championship. Shannon Johnson (Thorny Lea GC) is tied for the lead after one round of play. Meanwhile, this year’s Ouimet Memorial Tournament Champion, Alexis Florio (Woodland GC) is T5.

Round 2 will get going Sunday morning. Match play scheduled to begin Monday morning.

Ryley & Michael Regan make it two in a row in the Mass Golf Father Daughter Modified Scotch Tournament, firing a 3-under-par 69 at LeBaron Hills to successfully defend their title. Ryley made a 25-foot eagle putt on the 15th to give them the decisive edge.

In the Forward Division, James Rahilly & Kelsey Sweet earned the victory with a 76, with Sweet getting it done while 7 months pregnant!
