Tommy loved being a part of the Norton Police Department for 33 years. He began his career as a Dispatcher and rose to the rank of Deputy Police Chief. Well respected within the law enforcement community Tommy was a tremendous resource to Norton and the surrounding areas.

The C2 Foundation works tirelessly to honor the memory of Tommy through supporting our community. Today we support, Tommy's family, friends and the members of the police family.

Today, we remember Deputy Chief Thomas Petersen Jr. on the fifth anniversary of his untimely passing. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

Tommy would have celebrated his 56th birthday today. Friends and family miss him every day, but this week is especially difficult as we observe his birthday and reflect on his passing, which occurs next week. We continue working to honor his memory and make him proud.

If you have participated in any of the C2 activities and events over the past few years (toy drive, food drive, toy distribution, pickleball tourney and golf tourney), then you are probably very familiar with Madison Dufresne. She has been such an integral part of our efforts during her years at Norton High. We were so proud to present her with a Platinum Scholarship last week.

We will miss having her as a C2 Liaison next year as she heads off to Holy Cross.
