Competition day 3 was a long day Monday July 13th. We had sitting and kneeling and then closing ceremonies. The team placed 15th out of 51 teams and we couldn’t be prouder of their hard work and determination. There were 8 Kansas teams representing our great state and Riley Potawatomi placed 9th with a team score of 2329 and then Norton was the next Kansas team with a total score of 2305.
Our team score of 2305 consisted of team members:
Corey Marcum with a 474; 92 test, prone 98, standing 89, sitting 98, kneeling 97
Kevin Mapes with a 466; test 92, prone 99, standing 87, sitting 95, kneeling 93
Landry Dole with a 465; test 88, prone 99, standing 88, sitting 95, kneeling 95
Kellan Stewart with a 462; test 88, prone 96, standing 90, sitting 92, kneeling 96
Cash Beeson with a 438; test 82, prone 95, standing 85, sitting 91, kneeling 85
Corey Beeson was an alternate and his score was 414; Test 76, prone 93, standing 76, sitting 89, kneeling 80
Thank you to all our sponsors who gave donations to the program. It helped with lodging, meals and gas. What we have left over also helps for the upcoming years to pay for bbs, targets, entry fees to competitions and guns and parts when needed so that families can participate in BB gun and it being of no cost to them.
