Just to let everyone know, the last section of the trail being worked on between Ellis and S Ravenna Rd will open on Friday, 9/25. That will complete this phase of the rebuild project. Enjoy. 🙂

Update on Musketawa Trail construction:

The Musketawa Trail rebuild for phase 1 celebrates with a ribbon cutting on Friday, September 11th, 2026 (3PM). This will open the trail from the Ravenna trailhead to Ravenna Road including the newly rebuilt Crockery Creek bridge.

Changes: The trail section between Ellis/Squires Road and Ravenna Road will remain closed until approximately
September 21st. The closure also includes the Conklin trail head (for staging). The DNR had some excess funds in the project budget and they will be having some work done in that section.

For those of you that have been using that closed section, please be aware that construction work will be taking place there now. Please heed closure signs for both your safety and the respect of the workers. Thank you for your consideration as this work is finalized.
