Family and individual Peer Education and Support

NAMI Metro’s education programs include Families in Action, Monthly General Education Meetings, Peer-to-Peer Support groups, and various other programs. Public Education and Information, referrals, and education to our website visitors each day, the NAMI Metro Help Line, fields requests every day. In Our Own Voice helps dispel the stigma associated

with mental illness and encourages early intervention and treatment. Ending The Silence presentations for middle schools and high schools. Encourages mental health and education about signs and symptoms of mental health. Advocacy on Behalf of People Living with Mental mildness. We can help connect individuals to appropriate services/help. NAMI advocates for policies that are reflective of the best economic, science, recovery, and systems choices. Public Events That Raise Funds and Awareness
NAMIWalks is NAMI’s signature fundraising event. NAMI Metro joins with thousands of concerned citizens across the state to Walk for the Mind of America to raise funds and awareness. We will be happy to make presentations to any interested groups: In Our Own Voice, Family Member Education, NAMI Smarts Advocacy Training. Call us!!

Dear Friends,

Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center is holding a Nine & Dine Golf Event that will in part benefit NAMI-Metro and it is open to the public, so we are sharing the invitation to participate with all of our golfing friends.

NAMI-Metro is honored to have been chosen as the joint beneficiary along with the Heritage Foundation of Fox Hills first Nine & Dine Golf Event.

Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center was purchased by the Heritage Golf Group a few years ago and conducts these events at their properties around the country to benefit a locally selected charity and their own charity – the Heritage Foundation.

This event is very different than our own Skins and Pins Event, and the next Skins and Pins Event of which 100% of the proceeds goes to NAMI-Metro, is scheduled for Sunday, May 23, 2027.

Please hold that date – Sunday, May 23, 2027, for the next Skins and Pins for NAMI-Metro, and if you would like to get another round of golf in with friends before the snow flies, join us for Heritage Cares Nine & Dine Event on Friday, September 25, 2026.

Today, Clark went to work for White Castle and NAMI Metro. White Castle has been a great partner and they have done a number of roundups in support of NAMI Metro. Today I thought I would hep out and I can say I was the oldest White Castle employee today. Can not thank Ann Tubbs and White Castle enough for their ongoing and great support. Great bunch of employees.
