New Adult Application Process

A new adult application process will be implemented on Monday, March 4th. At that time, the adult application process will change to require that the results of the Criminal Background Check (CBC) must be received BEFORE the new adult volunteer can assume a leadership role.

Once an adult application is processed, the person is put in “pending.” The adult leader will get an email notice informing them their registration is being processed and they are NOT TO ASSUME ANY LEADERSHIP ROLE UNTIL THE COMPLETION OF THE CBC PROCESS. The unit key 3 will also get an email.

An email will be sent to the applicant and unit key 3, stating the applicant can now be an active leader when the CBC results are acceptable.

We are not meeting tonight due to the school closures and the ice. Great time to complete your CPT reports. Have them ready by next meeting! All going as OA need to be current on their dues. A link for those will be sent out soon. Stay safe.

Scouts BSA 777 is chartered by First United Methodist Church of Northville since 1999. Scouts BSA 777 provides both girls and boys ages 11-20 adventure, fun, character, leadership and so much more. We offer the following scouting programs:


  • Boys ages 11-17: Troop 777 for boys provides service, community engagement and leadership development as youth lead their own activities and work their way toward earning Scouting’s highest rank, Eagle Scout

  • Girls ages 11-17: Troop 777 for girls (new) provides all the same opportunities and advancement as Troop 777 for boys

  • Co-ed ages 14–20: Crew 777 provides all the exciting youth-led adventures and more as the troops but without the rank advancement
