Congratulations to Angela Leto, the 2026 Winner of the Saratoga Snowmobile Association, Inc. Annual Scholarship Award:

Middle Grove, NY - June 9, 2026 – The Saratoga Snowmobile Association, Inc., is pleased to announce the winner of our annual scholarship program.

This year’s scholarship winner is Angela Leto, a senior at Broadalbin-Perth High School. To qualify, Angela submitted a completed application, transcript, multiple letters of recommendation, and provided a written essay to the organization titled, “What snowmobiling means to me and how can I contribute to the sport.” Angela will be attending SUNY Cobleskill in the Fall and majoring in Wildlife Management.

Each year, the Saratoga Snowmobile Association offers a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating high school senior who plans to attend a four-year college, two-year college, or technical (trade) school.

The Saratoga Snowmobile Association, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and was recognized as the 2021 “Club of the Year” by the New York State Snowmobile Association (NYSSA). The organization maintains approximately 90 miles of groomed snowmobile trails in northern Saratoga County.

🚨🚨ATTENTION!!! 🚨🚨
ATVs, UTVs, SxS are NOT allowed on the snowmobile trails!

We have received many reports from landowners, County Officials, and State Forresters that have asked for our help to keep wheeled vehicles off the trails! We now have pictures of rocks being winched to be able to go around gates. This will cause us to lose access to these trails for the snowmobile season even though this has nothing to do with snowmobiles! This is due to trespassers! So please share! If you see something, say something!

FYI….Only leaseholders have permission to ride on their permitted area! They don’t have permission to ride the entire trail system!

Wheeled vehicles cause ruts, especially during the wet season with snow melt and rain. They cause drainage issues and ultimately cause more work for the club to repair for snowmobile season. This costs the club a considerable amount of money. And these individuals who are running the trails causing this damage are not the ones to volunteer to repair them either!

Please help save our access to the trails and STAY OFF them!!
