🇺🇸 Never Forget.

Members of the CSUN Veterans Alumni Chapter joined our local veteran community at All American Veterans of Foreign Wars VFW Post 2323 in Granada Hills for its September 11th remembrance ceremony.

It was an evening of reflection, remembrance, and community as veterans, families, and neighbors came together to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the first responders who answered the call, and all those whose lives were forever changed.

Thank you to VFW Post 2323 for bringing our community together to remember and pay tribute.

We will never forget.

Last night, at the CSUN Alumni Association Board Meeting & Year-End Social, our Chapter President, Tommy Diaz, was recognized as the 2026 Chapter President of the Year.

This honor reflects years of service, leadership, and dedication to the veteran community. From helping establish the CSUN Veterans Alumni Chapter to continuing to support Veteran Matadors long after graduation, Tommy has played an important role in strengthening our chapter and expanding opportunities for student veterans and alumni alike.

What a way to close out the year!

Please join us in congratulating Tommy on this well-deserved recognition. We are proud to have him leading our chapter and representing the CSUN Veteran community with excellence.

Congratulations, Tommy!

What an incredible evening celebrating our veteran and military-connected graduates at the 2026 CSUN Veterans Graduation Celebration hosted by the CSUN Veterans Resource Center (VRC)! 🇺🇸🎓

As alumni, it’s always meaningful to come back and see the next generation of Veteran Matadors reach this milestone. Behind every graduate is a story of sacrifice, resilience, discipline, and perseverance, and it was an honor for the CSUN Veteran Alumni Association to help celebrate those accomplishments.

Congratulations to all of this year’s graduates, along with the families, friends, faculty, staff, and supporters who helped them along the way. Your support matters more than you know.

No matter where life takes you next, you’ll always have a veteran community behind you. Once a Veteran Matador, always a Veteran Matador. 🇺🇸🦅👩‍🎓🧑‍🎓👨‍🎓
