Thank you to ALL who made my retirement celebration so SPECIAL and extremely unforgettable! A BIG SHOUT OUT to Del Vino Vineyards who created a warm welcome, delicious food, gorgeous atmosphere and superior staff. There was so much love that filled the room from administration, faculty, advisory board members, alumni and friends. I am grateful, overwhelmed and touched by everyone who has texted, emailed, called, sent cards, gifts and more… and I know many of you were unable to attend but your presence was felt by me!!

AOF will ALWAYS hold a SPECIAL place in my heart and my passion for work-based learning experiences to help students thrive will be my lifelong commitment! ❤️

A huge thank you to Hofstra Zarb School of Business for hosting our Academy of Finance Seniors & Juniors! It was an incredible opportunity for our students to immerse themselves in your world-class resources.

Seniors delved into the intricacies of financial markets at the Martin Greenberg Trading Room, honing their skills on the Bloomberg Terminal. Juniors explored the fascinating realm of behavioral science at the Behavioral Lab, gaining insights into eye tracking and VR headset utilization.

The experience culminated in a memorable business etiquette luncheon, where our students not only learned about professional conduct but also had the chance to network and build invaluable connections.

Thank you, Hofstra Zarb School of Business, for providing such enriching experiences for our students. We look forward to continued collaboration and the growth of our budding finance professionals!

Academy of Finance seniors were able to experience the pulse of financial technology and media firsthand with a transformative visit to Bloomberg Headquarters in the heart of NYC. Led by Academy of Finance Alum 2009, Joseph Alicata, students delved deeply into the realm of data analytics, Python differentiation, AI, FX (Foreign Exchange) electronic trading and the importance of embracing change. Students were able to engage with senior management executives gaining insights into Bloomberg Intelligence and corporate engagement strategies. From understanding the nuances of financial regulations to navigating the Bloomberg Terminal, this experiential journey equips students with invaluable knowledge and fosters a mindset of adaptability and innovation. Special thanks to the esteemed leaders and mentors for orchestrating an unforgettable opportunity for growth and learning
