Djembe Movement

Djembe Movement Many of us are drawn to the pulse of world rhythms; we feel a connection with things percussive, and with each other.

When we gather together in one space with hand drums at hand, the inevitable ensues. The Drum Circle is our collective/interactive experience. We are driven by the deep, hypnotic heartbeat of the Dundun. Hands dance on skins, feet hover in mid-air; rhythmic passion is on the loose, and we cannot sit still for it. The rhythm plays US, as our bodies become the instrument. It transforms us for a short time, but the feeling continues to resonate within us always.
