When Jay runs wearing Hunter’s picture, he represents the heart of the Hunter Whitley Butterfly Initiative. He reminds others that behind our mission is a real person, a real family and a story that deserves to be heard.

Through the long miles, the difficult moments and every finish line, Jay continues to honor Hunter while helping us spread a message of hope, awareness and support. His dedication shows that one person’s journey can help carry another person’s story farther than we ever imagined.

Hunter Chase Whitley, 23 of Tuscaloosa, AL unexpectedly lost his battle on November 13, 2022. To know Hunter was to love; he was a funny, giving person who literally always had a smile on his face and would do anything for the ones he loved. Hunter's magnetic personality, love for music, and strong character left a lasting impact on all. The Hunter Whitley Butterfly Initiative is a nonprofit organization founded to provide resources, support, education and raise awareness around Veteran mental health challenges and the Veteran su***de crisis.

Every spot purchased is not only a chance to win, but also a way to support a beautiful cause and help honor Hunter’s memory. 🦋
