Traffic alert ‼️

Denton County is constructing a breakout project on FM 407 at I-35W. The following are details about possible lane closures:

• Construction began on Monday, April 6.
• Efforts consist of right-turn lanes west of I-35W and through lanes beneath I-35W bridge.
• Expect various lane closures between April 6 through April 11, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. along northbound and southbound I-35W frontage roads, from mile marker 76 to mile marker 77 and along FM 407 eastbound and westbound from Avalon Road to Corral City Drive for pavement marking operations.
• Expect various lane closures on April 12, from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. on April 13, 2026, along the northbound and southbound I-35W frontage roads from mile marker 76 to mile marker 77 and along FM 407 eastbound and westbound from Avalon Road to Corral City Drive to place concrete barrier.
• This phase of construction is anticipated to last approximately four months.

On this Christmas Eve and Christmas, we would like to thank the men and women who wear the uniform and will be on shift during the holidays, from all agencies. They have to sacrifice, so that the citizens receive service during these special times and we commend them for it. It’s tough missing this time with your family and friends but it’s also an honor to serve and we realize it’s part of “it”. Merry Christmas to our family in blue across the US. The Northlake Police Association is proud to support Maryl Lorencz for Northlake Town Council! Mrs. Lorencz comes from a law enforcement family and she prioritizes public safety. We are confident she will support our members as the town’s explosive growth continues, and continue to be an asset for the citizens of Northlake going forward.

I’m honored to announce that I am running for re-election for Northlake’s Town Council and will be doing so uncontested.
