Last night was one of those evenings that reminds Michelle and Uncle Eddie exactly why we’re building this Clubhouse.

Seeing dozens of teenagers from our own Pecan Square by Hillwood community laughing, swimming, eating pizza, making new connections, and asking thoughtful questions about The How U Doin Foundation filled our hearts with gratitude. The excitement these teens have for what’s coming just across the street is incredible.

We served 50 pizzas, but what we really experienced was something much bigger: community.

A special thank you to Ben, Kristin Farber, Jesse, and our newest board member Andrew Jordan for helping make the evening such a success. From setup to teardown, pizza making to capturing memories, your willingness to serve means more than words can express.

It takes a village to do something meaningful, and that village continues to show up in amazing ways. We are so grateful to Razeena & Pecan Square for welcoming us and believing in what we’re building.

Last night felt like a preview of what’s ahead. While our full programming begins in January 2027, we receive the keys to the Clubhouse on September 1, and the next four months will be dedicated to building, preparing, and creating a place where teens can connect, strengthen their mental health, discover direction, and simply be teenagers again.

The Clubhouse may not officially open until next year, but the connections, conversations, and community are already beginning to take shape right now.

Thank you, Pecan Square. We can’t wait to continue this journey together. 🧡🍕🙏

One signature.

But behind that one signature stands a community of people who believed in something bigger long before it became real.

One vision.
One mission.
One Clubhouse.
And countless conversations, prayers, encouragement, introductions, donations, partnerships, volunteer hours, hugs, tears, and moments that helped bring us to this day.

Today, the How U Doin Foundation officially signed a four year lease at TX Business Parks as we move toward taking occupancy on September 1 for our future Clubhouse for teenagers in Northlake, Texas

This moment is not about one person.

It’s about every supporter who believed in creating something different for teens and families navigating connection, mental health, and substance misuse challenges.

It’s about community.

As this picture was taken, we weren’t thinking about a building.

We were thinking about the teenagers who will walk through these doors searching for connection. The families looking for direction. The conversations that will happen inside these walls. The laughter. The healing. The friendships. The pizza. The purpose.

This is the next major benchmark in the journey of the How U Doin Foundation, and we are filled with gratitude and enthusiasm for every person helping build it alongside us.
